Can you prevent hemroids during pregnancy?

I have been reading alot about pregnancy and it says it is commen for women to get hemroids during pregnancy or even birth.... This scares me and I defenitly don't want to get them.. is there anything i can do to help prevent them just incase im not one of the lucky ones that don't get them??????

This may sound gross, but during pregnancy, dont sit a lot on your butt, or when youre takin a poo, dont push too hard, or even not hard for too long, but dont be scared so much that you dotn poop cuz thatll really screw you up. I didnt get hemorrhoids until birth because i tried to deliver vaginally and i physically cant. All they are is blood vessels like when people get varicose veins in their legs. Its that but in your bum. Drink lots of water and if you do get them, get lots of tucks pads. They go away eventually.
